The first version of the JValue project was a monolithic Java application called the JValue Open Data Service (ODS). It was mostly developed by Patrick Reischl and Konstantin Tsysin under the leadership of Dirk Riehle. Its main example application, PegelAlarm, was developed by Philip Eichhorn.
